Cookie policy

This cookie policy relates to In2Coaching.nl and the associated online learning environment. It forms part of our privacy statement, which sets out how we otherwise handle personal data.
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your device. The next time you visit, the information contained in the cookie is sent back so that the site recognises you. As well as cookies, websites also use scripts – small pieces of programme code that enable the site to function – and pixels, invisible images used to count visits. Where we refer to ‘cookies’ below, we mean all three of these techniques.
Which cookies we use
Below is a breakdown by party of what is posted and why. In the last column, you can see whether we ask for your consent in advance.

The fonts on our website are hosted on our own server. This means that when a page is loaded, no data is sent to a third-party font service.
How we ask for consent
On your first visit, our website displays a banner showing the three categories. Functional cookies are always enabled, as the site will not work without them. Statistics and marketing cookies are disabled until you enable them yourself and click ‘Save’.
If you do not click or if you refuse, no statistics or marketing cookies will be set. You can change your choice or withdraw your consent completely at any time via the link in the banner or at the bottom of our website. Your choice will be saved so that we do not have to ask you again on every visit.
What happens before you make your choice
We want to be transparent about this, as it is not something that can be taken for granted. We use a Google technology called ‘consent mode’. With this, the tracking script is already on the page before you make a choice, and it sends a single message to Google.
That message contains no cookies and no data that can be used to identify you personally. It consists of the time, a general location, the type of browser you are using, and a random number that is generated anew each time a page is viewed and has no further significance afterwards. Google uses this to estimate the total number of people visiting our site.
If you opt for analytics or marketing, cookies will then be set and your visit will be properly tracked. If you do not opt for this, it will remain limited to that single message; nothing will be stored on your device and we will not recognise you on your next visit.
If you’d also like to avoid that particular message, you can visit our site using a browser or extension that blocks requests to Google. Our site will continue to work as normal.
Social media and embedded content
Our pages feature buttons linking to Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram. These buttons use code provided by those platforms themselves, which allows them to set cookies and link your visit to your profile on their sites. They determine for themselves exactly what they do with this information, and this may change. If you would like to know how they handle your data, please read their own privacy policy.
Transfer outside Europe
Google, Facebook, LinkedIn and ActiveCampaign are based in the United States. If you consent to the use of analytics or marketing, your data may be transferred there. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Deleting or blocking cookies
As well as using our banner, you can also delete or block cookies in your browser. Each browser does this slightly differently; your browser’s help function will explain how. Please bear in mind that our site may then no longer work properly, and that you will need to make a new selection once you have deleted our cookies.
Your rights
Insofar as we process personal data via cookies, you have the same rights as those set out in our privacy notice:
- access to the data we process about you
- correction or amendment of incorrect information
- deletion of your data
- restriction of processing
- objection to the processing
- transfer of your data to another party
- withdrawal of your consent, at any time and without giving a reason
Please send your request to info@in2coaching.nl. We will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, please let us know. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority at any time.
Changes
We update this cookie policy whenever there are changes to the cookies on our website. The date of the last update is shown at the top.
