My vision of leadership is strongly based on personal strength, emotional intelligence, and the ability to inspire others by example, especially when things get tense.

My approach to leadership goes beyond mere skills or knowledge. I believe effective leadership comes from inner transformation and the ability to motivate others by communicating with energy, vision, and empathy.

These are the key points of my vision of leadership.

1. Leadership starts with yourself

A good leader will first need to have control over his or her own emotions, behaviours and life choices. Self-leadership - or personal leadership - is the basis for any kind of external leadership. A leader must be able to control his or her own emotional state, set goals and develop self-discipline.

A leader must always exhibit the behaviour he or she expects from others. This means that if you demand integrity, proactivity, responsibility, hard work, or optimism, you must first demonstrate these qualities yourself.

Know yourself and thus know the other

2. State management and emotional intelligence

Leadership is about being able to effectively manage your own emotions and those of others. By mastering your physiology, focus and language, a leader can remain powerful and consistent even in challenging situations. Emotional intelligence - the ability to understand and manage your own emotions and those of others - plays a crucial role here.

3. Leaders are servants

True leadership is all about service. A leader must always be able to serve, support and help others grow. It is not about power or control, but about creating an environment in which people thrive. Leaders listen, show understanding and help their team members discover their own strengths and potential.

4. Vision and motivation

Leadership involves having a clear vision and being able to bring others along with that vision. It is about inspiring people, motivating them to do their best and providing direction, not by giving orders, but by conveying passion and conviction.

5. Empowerment

An effective leader empowers others by giving them the tools and confidence to act independently. Leadership is not just making decisions or setting direction, but empowering others to take responsibility and develop their own power.

6. Continuous learning and growth

Leaders need to be constantly learning and developing. They must be willing to acquire new knowledge and skills and be open to feedback. The ability to adapt and grow is essential for successful leadership, especially in changing times.

In essence, leadership is a combination of inner strength, emotional intelligence, and the ability to inspire and serve others. A leader must first achieve mastery of himself or herself before he or she can effectively lead others.
